Welcome to our October issue. As in every year, we write to our customers around this period to update them about news from the past few months. But this year has been far from ordinary. The coronavirus pandemic continues to rage in many places throughout the world, with dramatic implications on all aspects of life. The main concerns are, of course, the issues of health and the economy. I have no doubt that when we look back at 2020, it will be remembered as an extraordinary year in human history.
In the meantime, we try to cope as best as we can with the effects of the general situation on our own worlds, and adapt ourselves as quickly and as flexibly as possible. Fortunately, so far, we have been able to rise to the challenge, and I have every hope and faith that we will overcome this period of crisis and emerge from it stronger than ever.
For those of you who are looking for a bit of escapism from Covid-19, we have prepared an edition jam-packed with valuable news, such as an article on our PG1090 pallet – our brand-new reusable solution for heavy-duty storage and shipping, which has been launched recently. It is one of the most advanced pallets of its kind, and it provides a perfect solution for logistics systems that require heavy-duty racking on the one hand and operational flexibility and efficiency on the other hand. It is undoubtedly a true winner. You may also be impressed by the success story of Plasgad’s Distribution Pallet, told by one of our customers, as well as other stories. I invite you all to read and enjoy this super-interesting edition.
Overall, I’m pleased to say that despite all the difficulties and uncertainty of the current period, Plasgad is enjoying a momentum of activity. We continue to build up our activities in the USA, which are growing at an astonishing rate. This does not undermine our efforts in other markets, with particular emphasis on maintaining our core activities in Israel and Europe. Fortunately, not only has there been no decline in the understanding that our future depends, among other things, on switching to reusable packaging as part of the global efforts to preserve the environment – it has even intensified during the coronavirus pandemic. We will continue at all times to support those initiatives and to move forward as much as possible with more solutions and products to suit the changing needs.
So please enjoy reading, and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish a happy and successful new year to all our customers and partners in Israel, and most importantly – take care of yourselves and your staff and stay healthy!
